Amazon has some great fashion finds, that are not only affordable, and easy to access, but also incredibly chic. While I never recommend overconsumption or clogging up your closet with pieces you don’t need, this list can help you round out your closet a bit more for fall 2022.

Full of fuzzy sweaters, tights, ballet flats, and chic layering pieces. It’s a modern, adult interpretation of all your childhood pieces. 1. Turtleneck Sweater
This season, the turtleneck is back and it’s better than ever. A great turtleneck sweater can be dressed up or down, and worn with practically anything in your closet.
I love the looser silhouette of this piece, and how it can easily transition from a business casual look to a fun weekend outfit.
You could try french-tucking it into your go-to pair of jeans or layer it over a great fall skirt.
It comes in a variety of colors, but the one I’m wearing is “army green”. I personally love this color and think it works exceptionally well to transition to a winter wardrobe, as well.
2. Ballet Flats
While ballet flats have never truly gone “out of style” they are definitely going to be seeing a rise in popularity for fall 2022.
These are insanely comfortable, and a great easy flat for your fall wardrobe. They actually have some padding on the soles to make them a viable walking shoe or work shoe as well. And being a New Yorker, I assure you I am qualified to make this claim.
Ballet flats are great for running errands, commuting, or even a casual day at work.
I love this pair from Amazon because they are basic and versatile. You can wear them with literally anything– jeans, dresses, skirts, you name it.
They also come in several colors (I’m partial to black), so you can snag a few pairs to mix and match with your outfits. A red pair would be a great pop of color and fall touch.
Whether you’re looking for a great pair of flats to add to your collection or just looking for a good classic basic shoe, these are it! And you really can’t beat the price.
They look amazing with a fall dress in more temperant transitional weather. Or with a pair of black tights if you want to lean into soft girl fall vibes.
3. Levi’s Ribcage Bootcut Jeans
Straight-leg jeans are going to continue to be popular this season, but we are also going to see an uptick in flare and bootcut jeans coming back. And these are my absolute favorite pair.
I have them in black because I love the column dressing technique to lengthen your visual line. But they come in a variety of different styles.
The ribcage rise works well for my body type, but it can overwhelm smaller builds. Check out my video on proportions if you need more guidance on what rise works best for you.
But these jeans are insanely flattering and will give you some great shape without sacrificing comfort. The denim does not have stretch, so buy TTS with the understanding they will stretch somewhat throughout the day.
These would look fantastic with a pair of heeled boots for the office, or even your ballet flats for a casual look.

And if bootcut jeans are not your thing, try the classic Levi 501s. They are another pair of jeans I highly recommend. I love the original fit, which Kendall Jenner is known for sporting regularly, as well.

It is wonderful to slowly build a collection of fine jewelry earrings. However, if you’re anything like me and tend to be a bit rough on your jewelry, you can appreciate a couple of go-to pairs of earrings that won’t break the bank if you lose them.

I love the size options for different looks, and how they appear both modern and classic. Plus, they look fantastic stacked if you have more than one piercing on your ears.

Accessories are the key to a more polished look. They help cement the aesthetic goal you are aiming for. A birthday cake with no candles and sans a “happy birthday” message, doesn’t have the same effect. So don’t forget those little details.

5. Knee-High Boots
While chunky boots won’t’ be disappearing from the fashion trend list anytime soon, we will also be seeing slimmer styles gain popularity. And a chic knee-high boot is the perfect way to explore this silhouette shift. It’s classic enough it won’t feel outdated quickly and gives effortless model 90’s vibes (another major trend this season).
This is a great time to snag a pair of knee-high boots because they are currently on sale! These will sell out quickly, so if you’re in the market for a pair, now’s the time to buy.

These are actually really comfortable and walk well. The heel is just high enough to be flattering, but not so high that you’ll be in pain by the end of the day.
They also come in several colors: black, cabernet, cashew, and a leopard print. Depending on your wardrobe color palette, I would opt for the best color to compliment your base wardrobe for both fall and winter.
These boots look fantastic over jeans (depending on how tight they fit you), are snug enough to work well with skirts, and can even transition into winter weather as well.
They do stretch somewhat but have a fitted feel through the calves, so keep that in mind when you’re purchasing.
If you plan to wear them in winter conditions or more rough weather, I suggest adding sole protectors like these to protect them from wear and tear.
